Your workplace IT customer group for healthcare is a unit within Region-IT consisting of approximately 25 people.

Region-IT is now looking to strengthen the team with an additional application specialist. Are you the one we are looking for?

Your responsibilities

As an application specialist, you will belong to Region-IT's customer group for healthcare and work together with account managers, delivery managers, and development leaders. In this role, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for the technical management of systems for applications and integration components. You will work both in an agile team and in projects.

Your tasks mainly involve the operation and development of the platform for the healthcare information system Cosmic. This includes work on our server platform within SQL Server, application servers, and integrations with both internal systems and national services.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for someone with experience in:

• Database management of Microsoft SQL Server
• Writing SQL scripts.
• Windows Server
• Powershell

You should have a relevant academic degree or experience that the employer deems equivalent. To be successful in this role, you need to have a change-oriented attitude and a strong interest in technology. You keep up with technological developments and are knowledgeable about various technical solutions available in the market.

As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, and service-oriented. You should be able to work both independently and in a team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and your willingness to learn and achieve results. You have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

• Operation of complex systems
• Jboss
• Apache Tomcat
• CI/CD systems
• Source code management systems
• Agile work / Sprint planning
• Linux
